Derek Brink has more than 25 years experience in high tech strategy development and execution, corporate/business development, and product management/product marketing.
He brings a unique blend of analytical / technical background, combined with excellent communication skills and extensive information security industry expertise. Prior to joining Aberdeen Group in 2007, Derek’s industry experience includes positions with RSA Security (now a division of EMC), Gradient Technologies (now Entegrity); Transarc (a subsidiary of IBM); Sun Microsystems; and Hewlett-Packard. He began his professional career as an analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency.
Derek earned an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Applied Mathematics with highest honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
