Mark Pitts

Mark Pitts is Vice President of Business Development at Delfigo Security and brings over 18 years experience in business development, field operations, and frontline marketing and sales team building for technology, business intelligence, industrial manufacturing, and consulting companies. Most recently, Pitts was Vice President at NxtMove, a global marketing intelligence consultancy and prior to this, Vice President and General Manager with Pratt & Whitney Large Commercial Engines.  Pitts' experience includes more than 10 years working abroad as an expatriate in the emerging markets of Russia, Asia, Central, and Eastern Europe.

Focusing on business development, staff hiring, and sales training, Pitts launched field operations and built the support infrastructure for Dun & Bradstreet in Russia. As part of this new business venture, Pitts developed partnerships with top US consulting and accounting firms to provide support and development of newly privatized companies. He also led a data mining project of Russian companies designed to serve as the basis for business information reporting and credit rating.

As operations leader working in Central and Eastern Europe, Pitts developed marketing strategy, hired and trained sales teams, and built partnerships with local businesses and government agencies on behalf of Metromedia Telecommunications.

Serving a dual role with United Technologies as General Manager of Pratt & Whitney and Vice President of UTC Russia, Pitts expanded marketing and sales of large commercial engines and managed a variety of matrix relationships spanning several joint venture projects.

Most recently, Pitts has been developing business and leading projects in Asia for several consulting companies specializing in market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic planning in the healthcare, industrial products and finance verticals.

Pitts earned a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and completed the University of Chicago Executive MBA program. In addition, he graduated from several US Army schools and corporate training courses covering leadership and technical subjects.
